Episode 13 “Nothing But the Blood”
Jason becomes involved with the Fellowship of the Sun while Lafayette and Royce are missing. It is later revealed that Eric is keeping them captive and ends with Eric feeding on Royce.
Episode 14 “Keep This Party Going”
Bill is having a hard time taming her new vampire protégé, Jessica. On the other hand, Jason is getting too involved with his anti-vampire scheme. Eric approached Bill and Sookie to help him find Godric, a vamp sheriff.
Episode 15 “Scratches”
After an argument between Sookie and Bill, she head off walking alone when a monster suddenly attacked and poisoned her. Bill asks Eric for help and introduced Dr. Ludwig for which Sookie recovered. At Fangtasia, Sookie find out Lafayette is in the basement and agreed to Eric in helping him find Godric in exchange for his friend’s freedom.
Episode 16 “Shake and Fingerpop”
Sookie, Bill and Jessica arrives in Dallas to search for Godric. While back in Bon Temp, Maryann throws a party performing spell to fill up the place with sexual energy. Bill and Eric meet in the hotel where Sookie bump into Barry, who is also a telepathic.
Episode 17 “Never Let Me Go”
At Bon Temp, Maryann freely uses her supernatural power against the people in Merlotte’s. In Dallas, the trio is getting further in their mission when Sookie presented herself to be a convert on the Fellowship of the Sun. It is revealed that Godric saved Eric before and that he was his maker. When Sookie and Bill are making out, Bill’s maker, Lorena appears.
Episode 18 “Hard-Hearted Hannah”
Sookie and Bill meet Isabel and Hugo, Godric’s followers as they try to break into the Fellowship of the Sun. The anti-vampire church leaders find out their mission from an unknown person and take them captive in the basement. Meanwhile, at Bon Temps, Maryann captures Sam and turns him as a sacrifice for her ritual.
Episode 19 “Release Me”
Sam escaped the ritual as Andy Bellefleur came firing his pistol. At the church, Sookie and Hugo are still captive and Bill can’t intervene as Lorena prevents him from going. Later, Sookie find out Hugo is the traitor and that Maryann, for which Daphne claims, is a Maenad, an immortal creature with huge power.
Episode 20 “Time bomb”
Eric and Sookie escaped the Fellowship army while Jason manages to fight through along with Bill. Everyone gather in a resting place when a Fellowship soldier comes with silver chain and bomb in his body and blows off the place.
Episode 21 “I Will Rise Up”
Eric, badly wounded by the silver bullets lodged in his body ends up Sookie sucking it out. By tasting Eric’s blood, she may become attracted to him sexually. Godric agrees to his demotion as a sheriff. He decides to kill himself, although Eric disapproves. On the roof, he “meets the sun” while Sookie is beside him in tears.
Episode 22 “New World in My View”
Going back to Bon Temps, everyone was surprised by the chaotic happenings of the town. Sam is under Andy’s protection. Bill and Sookie find out Maryann is a Maenad, so he flee to search the vampire queen of Louisiana.
Episode 23 “Frenzy”
Bill meets Sophie-Ann, the vamp queen and reveals Maryann can be defeated if they can fool her on believing her god appears to give her true death.
Episode 24 “Beyond Here Lies Nothin”
Sam and Bill agree to defeat Maryann by riding on to her delusions. Sam stabbed her by transforming into a bull and she died. After all the commotions, Bill proposed to Sookie. But after her bathroom break, she returns and finds Bill being kidnapped.
