The Vampire Diaries: Season 2 Episodes

Episode  1: The Return

Katherine is back in the Mystic Falls. And for this reason, Stefan and Damon set to investigate the reason of her sudden reappearance and the threat it brought to the people they love.

 

Episode 2: Brave New World

A little fight takes place after Damon tries to take actions on Caroline’s return. However, Damon is stopped by Elena and Stefan who come to defend Caroline. Later, Damon gets suspicious on Tyler’s uncle Mason, thus he deliberately uses Tyler’s impulsive personality to reveal Mason’s secret.

Episode 3: Bad Moon Rising

Elena, Damon and Alaric decide to pay Duke University a visit. That is in connection with their investigation to the mysterious Lockwood family and how Isobel’s research on folklore and paranormal can possibly help them uncover it.

Episode 4: Memory Lane

Stefan, in his investigation to unravel the reason behind Katherine’s return, get stunned after Katherine confides to him the secrets about what really occurred in 1864. On the other hand, Damon continues to seek ways on how he can uncover Mason’s secret.

Episode 5: Killed or Be Killed

Mason’s secret seems to have something to do with the Lockwood’s curse and Tyler gets to know about it through his uncle. Elena tries to keep his brother Jeremy from the Lockwood issues but fails. Meanwhile, Mason has decided to divulge the secret to Sheriff Lockwood, and this sudden turn has resulted to a night of violence, revelations and heartbreak.

 

Episode 6: Plan B

Though Elena is occupied in keeping Jeremy safe and away from the Lockwood issue, she still extends her hand to help Damon and Alaric deal with Katherine. In the meantime, Bonnie’s accidental discovery on Mason’s secret has lead Damon to take things on his own ways.

Episode 7: Masquerade

Stefan and Damon attend the Lockwood’s Masquerade ball where Katherine, too is invited. Both Damon and Stefan with the help of Bonnie, Alaric and Jeremy, plan something to corner Katherine however the latter has her own plan prepared too.

Episode 8: Rose

Stefan and Damon get to know new shocking information about the vampires, the people and the chain of events in the distant past, after helping out Elena from danger. Jeremy, on the other hand, makes himself busy by assisting Bonnie who gets weaker after casting a very difficult spell.

Episode 9: Katerina

Elena, knowing that Stefan won’t allow her, takes her investigation with regards to Katherine’s past, a secret. However, this put her in extreme danger. On the other hand, Damon tries to reveal the power and the purpose of the moonstone thru the help of a new-found confidant. A new character enters Mystic Falls, a student named Luka.

Episode 10: The Sacrifice

Elena decides to move according to her own plan, bribing Rose to get her additional help. But things will not work in accordance to what was planned thus Rose will seek for Damon’s help. Caroline has able to convince Tyler to show to her the Lockwood cellar, where she makes a shocking discovery.

Title: “Strange Love”
Summary: Taking place two years after the revelation that vampires walk among us, Sookie Stackhouse, a telepathic waitress in Merlotte’s Bar in Bon Temps, Louisiana, meets vampire Bill Compton, a newcomer to  the small town. She’s immediately attracted, in part because she can’t read his mind, and she’s called into action when Bill is attacked by locals. Meanwhile, Sookie’s brother Jason is arrested for murdering a local “fang banger” (someone who sleeps with vampires), and Sookie’s volatile friend Tara comes to work with her for their boss, Sam Merlotte.

Title: “The First Taste”
Summary: Bill rescues Sookie from the people who attacked him earlier, giving her some of his blood to heal her wounds — which leaves her with odd side effects. She invites him to meet her family, and she meets his vampire friends. As the two get to know each other, however, Bill must fight his vampiric urges. Elsewhere, Tara deals with her mother’s alcoholism, and a new church threatens the vampires.

Intro: Season 2 of True Blood picks up where Season 1 left off. Sookie is grateful to have Bill back but must deal with his new female vampire protege, Jessica. Sam wrestles with several issues: losing Sookie to Bill, hiding his own supernatural ability and dealing with a ghost from his past, Maryann. As Tara settles into her new lush surroundings at Maryann’s along with a new lush love interest in Eggs, she must deal with the murder of someone close to her. Jason, confused and seeking direction in his life, finds solace in the anti-vampire church the Fellowship of the Sun.

Title: “Nothing But the Blood”
Summary: A shocking murder outside Merlotte’s has Bon Temps reeling. Meanwhile, Sookie’s relationship with Bill is tested when she learns about Jessica, and of his involvement in her uncle’s death. Sam recalls a shape-shifting encounter he had with Maryann as a 17-year-old. Jason gets a sudden windfall that allows him to pay for a leadership retreat with the Fellowship of the Sun. Two adversaries find themselves sharing a mysterious dungeon and possibly the samefate.

Summary: Sookie is forced to cope with Bill’s obligations to Jessica, as well as the romantic inconveniences the teen vampire’s presence creates. At the Light of Day leadership conference, Jason makes a favorable impression on its ambitious leaders, Steve and Sarah Newlin, though not on his jealous roommate Luke. Maryann casts her spell on Merlotte’s patrons, and Sam proves helpless to stop the revelry.

Summary: When Sookie is attacked by a mysterious creature, Bill must enlist Eric’s help to save her. At the Light of Day retreat, Jason has second thoughts about the sect’s anti-vampire agenda, but Sarah and Steve counter his doubts with flattery and promises. After snapping at Tara and new employee Daphne, Sam decides to cut and run. A bored Jessica heads over to Merlotte’s, where a smitten Hoyt falls under her spell. At another Maryann-hosted party, Tara finds her attraction to Eggs interrupted by a swirling, aphrodisiac fog.

Summary: Eric tricks Sookie into drinking his blood, drawing her to him. Jessica meets Hoyt’s mother, who hates vampires. Maryann corners Sam in jail. Lafayette and Tara’s mother recognize Maryann’s evil ways and rescue a possessed Tara. Godric faces his fate.

Summary: Sookie, Bill and Jason return to Bon Temps to find it in ruins, with the population bewitched by Maryann’s powers. Sam is cornered in his bar by Maryann’s minions. HBO’s True Blood Series is on.

The 6th episode of True Blood Season 3: I Got a Right to Sing the Blues airs on HBO on Sunday.

The third season’s plot is loosely based on the third novel of The Southern Vampire  Mysteries, Club Dead.

Episode 6 synopsis:

Spurned by Eric, Sookie fears the worst for Bill, whose fate now lies in Lorena’s hands.

Jason’s romance with Crystal hits a snag, as does Lafayette’s with  Jesus. Fueled by a night of passion, Tara executes a desperate  plan to stave off Franklin’s advances.

After revealing his master plan to Eric, Russell pays a visit to Louisiana in order to start executing it.

In Bon Temps, Tommy finds it difficult to leave the family nest. Jessica gets her fix from a Merlotte’s customer.
